One of the pleasures of an Italian summer evening, limoncello is a drink that’s served —ice cold—as a “digestivo,” or after-dinner drink. Making your own is a breeze with this kit: all you need to add is vodka, sugar, and lemons. As beautiful to look at as it is delightful to drink, limoncello also mixes well with soda, prosecco, and any fruit flavors that are complemented by citrus. (Can you think of one that isn’t?) Delight your friends, and maybe even yourself. Made in New Zealand.

If you want to give this to someone so they can use it right away, be sure to research what else you need to package it with (e.g. lemons, and vodka.) That said, since lemons don’t have a lot of lasting power, maybe just give them vodka. This is great for friends who love Italian food/drinks, mixology, or gourmet stuff (especially if they like making it.) Also, it’s simple enough that even if you have a friend who enjoys adult beverages but isn’t so enthusiastic about cooking, they will still enjoy it.

Fun to bring back memories of a great trip and a delicious and refreshing drink.

Husband mixes with vodka for a tasty late-afternoon cocktail. The limoncello is also nice for sipping as a dessert.

A great idea for your favorite at-home mixologist.
I have long envied friends who made their own Limoncello, and I thought it would be much more complicated. This kit made it so easy, and now I’m able to make enough to use at home and give as gifts. Win-win!

Easy directions and even better than anticipated. We used a liter of Vodka and filled the bottles halfway with simple syrup following the three day waiting period. Tastes very good and I’m happy it doesn’t have any artificial lemon taste as I’ve had in some Store bought ones. Make sure you only skin off the yellows and don’t get the white part.

When life gives you lemons, make limoncello! My friend and I loved a glass limoncello after dinner when we were in Italy. Well, not sure when we’ll get back to Italy, it this digestive is a delicious reminder of happier times!

So excited to try this. Bought this as a gift for my step mom since we were unable to go to Sorrento, Italy this past summer — figured she could make her own limoncello!

Awesome (simple!) Limoncello Kit

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day, and it was such a great, simple kit to make your own Limoncello! Instructions were very easy to follow and the ingredients necessary were your basic household items— sugar, water, lemons, and vodka. The honey flavoring adds a nice twist, but I would recommend adding more than the suggested 0.5 mL to really taste a difference. The company provides you with a lot of extra flavoring, so don’t worry about using it up too quickly! The taste (with or without the optional added flavor) is a perfect cool-down drink for a hot summer night.
