This butter took me by surprise. I did not expect it to taste as good as it did. It’s not name brand, but in an emergency when butter would really taste good on something or in something, you will be pleased.

Great butter. I keep a few cans on hand. Fresh bright yellow color. Better than what the market sells…

I bought this butter for long term storage but anticipated opening one can to test it. OMG! This butter is fabulous. It’s much denser than American butter, it’s not watery and doesn’t separate when melted. There is no watery milky residue on the bottom of the dish, just pure butter. It’s very thick/solid and tastes just fine. I will be buying more of this today. The better buy is a dozen cans (I bought 6 before). I think its even better than the Irish butters I have been buying recently instead of Land O Lakes. I made choc chip cookie bars with this butter yesterday and the family raved about them. Worth the price, IMO.

I missed real butter when i moved from Australia to the USA and the butter here is so PALE but in all seriousness it is also wonderful to not only have real butter but that it can be stored for so long…. I just recently opened a can from my order in 2016 and it was perfect.I am buying more because collapse happens and i want some comforts.

We are enjoying this product very much. It is sweeter than butter we buy from the grocery stores, A little expensive but has a self life we like.

I am a long-time customer of Red Feather. And Red Feather butter is best damn butter in the world as far as I’m concerned. I don’t eat a lot of dairy products because I’m on a special diet so quality is worth every penny to me. And I’m picky and this is a high-quality product

We take a can with us when camping. Great flavor, smooth texture and lasts pretty much forever. Just bought another round of 6 cans. Great for prepping too. You’ll love it.

Was looking for a canned butter to replicate WWII rations and to put away. Shipping was fast, but one of six cans was dented. These are 12 ounce cans, so too large for WWII 10 in 1 rations, but still good for a put-away. Finally opened one. Very dense. Somewhat waxy when eaten off-the-spoon, but it melts nicely and was quite tasty on toast. I was expecting knock-your-socks off, eyeball-popping goodness, but it was ok. A little pricey for butter, but a good canned resource.
Honest Opinion –
My husband likes this butter on a ciabatta with peanut butter as topping. The taste is better than a store bought butter but it generates too much liquid when used in making sweets. I made rice krispie bars with this butter and had to tweak the recipe much by adding a lot more marsmallows than usual just to compensate for the extra liquid.

Butter in a can? I’m prepping so I would like it to be true. With some trepidation I opened a can to try. Hmmm. Looks good. Smelled it. Smells OK. Tasted a small piece. Mild… that’s good. Tried it on a piece of hot toast. Yes! This is butter…. real butter that could be from a local dairy. Expensive but …. I’m willing to pay for good mild butter in a can with a long shelf life .

This is the 2nd time I have bough this. The first I kept for a few years past the best-buy date and it was fine. Good, rich, creamy butter. It’s great to keep for emergencies, but more than once I saved me when, in the middle of cooking something, I found was out of butter in the fridge! 😉

These arrived quickly and the Size of them are much larger than they appear in the Picture. I can truly say this is the First time I got my Money’s Worth. Better than I bargained far. Thank you so much!!

I am impressed. Few ingredients. Long shelf life. I highly recommend for having on hand.

I saw some reviews saying their cans came dented but my pack of 6 came neatly packaged individually and stored together in a box that was nested within another box. No dents and all cans were is perfect condition. As far as the taste, the flavor is between a light ghee and a good stick of butter. I would recommend it for long term storage since that is the purpose of mine. I live in Hurricane central and when you mix in some potential for an economical issue, storing up some good butter for a dark day just seems right.

We were very pleased with the taste and consistency of this product. It is real butter that does not require refrigeration. We have cooked with it and used it on various foods and we are completely satisfied.

I bought this out of disgust for what I think is butter in the store. Just can’t trust our food chain anymore. I leave my butter in a butter dish out on the counter for toast and such. One morning I took the lid off to get some soft butter for my toast and it wasn’t soft butter. It was hard butter for sitting out. That did it for me. I quit buying “butter” at my store and went online. This is not only good for use now but for food storage if you are remotely insterested in that. It taste real and it is real. Thank you.
