I already own 2 Stanley thermos, travel mug and another food jar . I love this food jar . Unlike my previous jars this one keeps my food hot for a very long time . I hike a lot and now that is cooler I like to take stews or soups on my hikes . This jar keeps food hot and is also leakproof . The size is perfect , the mouth is wide enough to eat comfortably. My only complaint would be that I wish it had some sort of handle to hold on to like on their big thermos . The jar is too wide for my small hands to hold comfortably . I have to put my hand under it rather than around it to hold it . It’s a minor flaw though . I’m sure guys won’t have that problem lolI recommend that you first warm up your food jar before putting hot food in . I pour boiling water for about 5 min , dump it out and then I put my food . That way it’s guaranteed that it stays hot for hours.I highly recommend this jar or any Stanley items.

So I have bought the large Stanley food jar in the past (the one that looks like a coffee holder) and my husband didn’t like it. He said it was too big and was more appropriate for coffee. So when I saw this, I figured I’d give it a try. He says this one is much more doable, fits in his lunch box, keeps food warm through his 9 hour work shifts, and he even says it helps with portion control! I have emptied it out once or twice and it def fits more than you think (so I’m not sure about the portion control). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

This is my 2nd Stanley thermos I have purchased of this size. I use them for my kids school lunches. They love them, being able to take hot food to school in the winter and still have it hot when it’s time to eat is important. This is a great design for kids because the lid can be used as a bowl or you can just eat out of the thermos because it has a wide opening and the screw on lid also pops open and has storage space for condiments. My son is hard on everything he owns, his thermos has survived 3 years so far and to this day doesn’t leak, stays hot and the spork is still in one piece! Stanley is built to last! I even have green ones that were passed down from my grandpa that I still use.

I’ve have another one, I just needed a spare. It’s easier to clean then others (wide mouth), holds both hot and cold temps well, especially if you take the time to prep before (boiling water or iced water before filling). It also fits well in lunch boxes

Put soup in this baby and it was still hot 6+ hrs later. Threw it in my backpack with my laptop and iPad and didn’t leak. I also have Stanley thermos and water bottles and they all go in my backpack and I don’t have to worry about leaks and ally foods and drinks stay hot/cold for over 7+ hours. Highly recommend!I was going to purchase this at the local Target but all of the ones in-store were missing the spoon so I decided to order it on Amazon. Arrived in perfect condition!Stanley also has lifetime warranty on all their products and they have replaced parts I’ve lost on a thermos I’ve had for almost a decade.
