I am early in terms of getting married.

I am blessed with a kind, generous husband,

we finally have our first child in our 30s.

Having a son has made me think what’s best for him,

…and how to grow him in a healthiest way possible.

As I read a lot of health articles online,

it’s surprising to see how non-sticky pans are made.

PFOA was later decided to be the caused of cancer.

I was happy with the cookware that I had,

..but not sure if they are safe for my children.

Though it costs me a lot to change my cookware,

I believe a PFOA free cookware is going to be the best choice…

…for the health of my son.

Not so many people are aware of the PFOA free pan,

…you can also share the information to your friends,

and family to upgrade their healthy life style,

…by having a PFOA free pan and cookware.

For some of you that haven’t know about PFOA,

let’s check this out!

PFOA

The term “perfluorooctanoic acid” stands for “perfluorooctanoic acid.”

It is most closely linked with Teflon, despite the fact that..

…Teflon does not include it. It’s not in, but it’s all around.

Teflon and other water-resistant materials are made with it,

…although PFOA is burnt off in the process.

Stain-resistant carpet, water-repellent clothing,

paper/cardboard packaging, ski wax, fire-fighting foam,

…sealants and floor wax are all manufactured using PFOA.

When other compounds (such as fluorotelomers) degrade, PFOAs are formed.

So why should we worry if it’s not Teflon? PFOA,

…on the other hand, has just recently achieved prominence…

…as a result of its stunning finding everywhere–no exaggeration.

It can be found on every continent, as well as in our drinking water…

…and bodies. Because it doesn’t disintegrate in water…

…or in the ground (which is why it’s so beneficial),

…it stays out there and can travel for kilometers before….

…ultimately settling on the ocean’s surface.

While the American Cancer Society asserts that

…”nonstick cookware is not a substantial source of PFOA exposure,”

Teflon production has led to global pollution…

…of this everlasting chemical.

PFOAs have been utilized in large quantities…

…in various aspects of our life since the 1940s, and it wasn’t only Teflon.

….or not if you want to know more about it.

PFOA Free Non Stick Pan Does Exist?

When you digest this disturbing knowledge about PFOA…

…and memories of meals like sizzling crepe,

cá khot (Vietnamese caramelized catfish),

…or even ingredient prep for bánh gi come flooding back,

…it’s time to replace that pan right away!

It’s time to switch to nonstick cookware that doesn’t contain PFOA.

We are immediately transported to a more innocent era.

It’s that time of year when you put…

…your heavily seasoned cast-iron skillet back in that covered wagon.

Okay, wait. Can I make a French omelet on a cast iron pan?

Maybe with a couple of sticks of butter,

…but it would be really difficult to flip with that heavy thing.

How about a carbon steel skillet? Better, but still not technically…

…“non-stick.” I’m trying to save my butter and watch my cholesterol.

Ah yes, technology! All that bad press from Teflon gave way…

…to a new market for advancements in the world of non-stick cookware.

We have several new patented technologies promising a PFOA-free supply chain.

Here are some of those brands:

This business produces a 5-ply non-stick pan with a PTFE…

…covering free of PFOA and PFAS. Because they are manufactured

… in the United States and have FDA and US Consumer Safety…

…Commission approval, you can trust them.

What is PTFE, exactly? Teflon is the most well-known…

…PTFE-based coatings brand. Yes, Made In utilizes a

…Teflon-like coating, but they promise that no PFOA

is used in the production process. To summarize,

…the Environmental Protection Agency and

…the American Cancer Society agrees that Teflon…

…is not a significant source of PFOA.

The primary disadvantage of PTFE is that it does not hold up…

…well at high temperatures. For high-temperature cooking,

…such as searing, PTFE non-stick cookware should be avoided.

In the worst-case scenario, the gases will give you a headache.

Please do not use excessive heat to damage your

…PTFE pans near pet birds, as this can be fatal to them..

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a collection…

…of thousands of synthetic chemicals that are widely utilized…

…in various household items, including nonstick cookware,

…according to the FDA. Many PFAS are already restricted…

…from manufacturing due to their potential hazards,

…and the Biden administration wants to ban them

…from drinking water. However, this does not rule out…

…the possibility that you will come into touch with them through earlier items.

Avoiding most types of nonstick cookware is one method…

…to reduce your PFAS exposure. At high temperatures,

…the coating on these pans might break down,

…allowing undesirable components to enter your stir fry.

Even though newer Teflon pans claim to be PFOA-free,

…they still include other chemicals such a PTFE covering.

If you’ve become accustomed to the ease of nonstick surfaces,

…you’re in luck. There are lots of safe, nonstick cookware on the market today.

We’ve listed the best nontoxic, nonstick cookware…

…on the market today below. Each has its own set of benefits,

…but all of the products listed here will offer you peace…

….of mind that you’re cooking on a safe surface…

…that won’t produce hazardous gases even when heated to high temperatures.

TECHEF Tamagoyaki Japanese Omelette Egg Pan

Pros :

It is a long-lasting nonstick Teflon with a new, unique, and patented …

….scratch resistance technology.

It is good to cook omelets, sandwiches, and pancakes…

…and it can be easily flipped because to the distinctive sloping form.

This New Teflon coating is safe without PFOA process.

It is deemed to be safe for cooking by regulatory authorities across the world.

Cons

Overall is good but may not be best for the induction stove. Only the center circle area is induction sensible. I feel it heats a bit slow and the corner area is not as evenly heated (compared to other stainless induction stove pod/pan I have) to make the Tamagoyaki a bit challenging. Now I use it more for regular non-stick usage. I bought the larger size of it. Maybe buy the smaller size to have the center heated area just about the same size as the pan bottom would work.

A costumer review

It’s a bit slower for induction on the center to heat up, accoring to…

…a costumer, and some might found it peels…

…a little bit faster than the regular non-stick pan.

12″ Stone Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri PFOA Free

Pros :

It is made out of stone, the induction is stable,

and the heat stays a little bit longer than stainless steel made.

Cons:

It’s heavier than other PFOA free pan.

Sum Up!

It’s quite hard to avoid chemicals that is still under research…

…and development such as PFOA on non stick pan.

Nowadays, we understand how PFOA could damage our lives.

Conclusion

Not so many products include their PFOA free tagline…

…to make you sure that it is safe to use on a daily basis.

Make sure you are on the right track,

and tell us what you think about the PFOA free pan!
