  6. Turn off the machine, take off the top cover, and wash the machine with soap and water.
  7. Remove the top cover, fill with dry paper towels, turn on the machine, and let run until done. When finished, flush and rinse thoroughly.
  8. Use a new filter if necessary.
  9. Replace filters and reassemble the machine.
  10. Run the machine several times to ensure there are no leaks.
  11. If the foam keeps coming back, simply run it through the dishwasher once more.
