As a customer said…
“I have used it at least ten times since I received it. So far I have cooked eggs, bacon, pork chops, toast, a Philly steak sandwich, and waffles (with the waffle plates I purchased separately). Everything has turned out great“
The Pros
- Many indoor grills do not heat to temperatures high enough to safely cook red meats. That isn’t an issue for the Cuisinart at all. You can cook steaks in under five minutes, frozen burger patties in eight, and hot dogs in four minutes after allowing your device to heat up.
- There’s no need for propane or charcoal; all you need is clean, unadulterated electricity.
- Because of its brushed stainless steel casing, the griddle by Cuisinart is undoubtedly passable if you want a stainless steel look in your kitchen.
The Cons
- This grill won’t last much longer than five years. Even worse, you’d be lucky if the griddler by Cuisinart lasted more than three years. If you plan on using this on a daily basis, keep in mind that regular use will destroy it faster. Sadly, this is not a long-lasting product.
- Indoor barbecues will never provide the real BBQ flavor that we’ve all come to expect. What flavors does the Cuisinart produce? Your meats will be oily, if not juicy and tender, and will be severely deficient in smokey and charred flavor.

Introducing the GR-5BP electric Griddler by Cuisinart
Featuring an LCD display, this handy kitchen tool…
…will become your most prized cooking appliance!
With adjustable temperature settings from…
…175 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s perfect for any meal…

…a contact grill for deliciously crispy chicken fingers…
…in under 10 minutes.
One of the customer reviews said…
“Overall it’s a really nice grill and I would definitely recommend it. Hopefully, it lasts as long as my old one did.“
The Pros
- The grill quickly heats up and is now ready to use. You don’t need to add any oil or butter because it’s nonstick (unless you want more flavor or crispiness).
- With the ability to function as a full griddle, full grill, combination half griddle/half grill, contact grill, and panini press, the griddler by Cuisinart makes a convincing elevator pitch.
- This type is particularly user-friendly since it includes a clear LCD display that allows you to more properly judge the cooking temperature. The timer and cooking mode can both be adjusted using the same dial.
The Cons
- The sole drawback is that it only has a single dial for both plates, and the timer has a history of being unreliable.
- It also cut off partway through our bacon’s cooking period, leaving the rashers flabby and sad for reasons we still don’t understand.
- For something that should work in the first place, this is not a sound policy.
