Choose Your Breads Right

The most important step is to choose the right bread. Take drier and thicker bread that absorbs the moisture of the filling if you choose moist and soft fillings. Baguette, meketta and ciabatta are the best breads for a panini sandwich. The breads must be horizontally cut and filled with your favorite ingredients.

Get Rid of the Sogginess

Whatever the good appearance of your sandwich, it’s wet and soggy, it’s inexpensive. Spread mayonnaise, butter or cream at the edges of every piece of bread you choose to avoid sniffing soft foods to hamper the whole sandwich. The propagations help to build a seal on the wet ingredients. In order to avoid wet sandwiches, just before the sandwich is ready, add a “watery” component such as cucumber, tomato or pickles.

Cut the Bread with a Straight-Edged Knife

It can be a very difficult task to cut well-made Panini in view of its fillings. Use a straight-edged knife to cut the sandwich, instead of using a tight knife. This ensures that the prepared sandwich is separated smoothly and neatly.

Add Butter to Get the Crunchiness

You would agree, grilled sandwich taste best when crunchy. To add to the crunch, all you need to do is put butter on the Panini press before placing the breads on it. This will ensure a crunchy grilled delight.

Believe in Slow Cooking

The virtue of the perfect sandwich is patience. Make sure you don’t grill the Panini with an overheated press. The bread takes time to toast and the fillings take place indoors. The cheese should melt inside and vegetables should be crunchy and meats soft and tender.
