How to Cook Juicy Keto Meatloaf?
Ingredients for Juicy Keto Meatloaf
To prepare this delicious keto meatloaf, you’ll only need a few simple ingredients. The recipe card below has the exact measurements. Here’s a rundown of what you’ll require:
- Egg: In most of my recipes, including this one, I use large eggs.
- Kosher salt and black pepper: If you’re using fine salt, cut back on the amount you use or the dish will be overly salty.
- Spices: Dry thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder Check to see whether they’re still fresh! A dish might easily be ruined by a stale spice.
- Lean ground beef: In this dish, I do not recommend using extra-lean beef. In some recipes, it works nicely, but it’s too dry for this one.
- Almond flour: I use blanched almond flour that has been finely milled. I haven’t tried using coarse almond meal yet, so I’m not sure how well it would work.
- Parmesan: Use finely grated parmesan rather than coarsely shredded.
- Unsweetened ketchup: It’s available at Whole Foods and on Amazon. Because we’re only using a small amount, it won’t make a difference if you use standard ketchup. You can certainly leave it out entirely, however I think it adds a lot to the dish.
