Latte Is Coffee Beverages From Italia

A traditional Italian drink made by steaming freshly-ground whole bean coffee grounds into a frothy blend of warm water and milk. The result is smooth, rich taste with just enough acidity to balance it out perfectly. This is why lattes are often served without any other additions. Latte art is created by pouring foam onto top of coffee using various techniques like drizzling, swirly swirls and spouts.

How to Make Latte

  1. Grind 1 cup of coffee. If desired, grind coffee right inside the machine. Otherwise, pour hot water directly into grinder container and turn the handle until fine particles appear. Do this twice more than usual.
  2. Pour 3/4 cup of room temperature water into small saucepan. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and stir well. Bring mixture to boil then remove pan from heat.
  3. Place large mug under running faucet. Slowly stream water past grounds, filling glass halfway. Stop once grounds stop dripping. Let stand 10 seconds then gently rinse off excess water. Repeat process three times. Discard used grounds.
  4. Fill glass with remaining water. Stir well then place lid on pot. Turn stovetop knob to medium low setting. Allow water to simmer for 4 minutes. Remove lid and allow steam to escape. Carefully open oven door and carefully transfer glass filled with steamed water to microwaveable bowl. Microwave 15 second intervals until liquid has reduced by half. Be careful because steam will rise quickly! Once finished, let cool 5 minutes before serving.
  5. For garnish, whip heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cooled latte. Drizzle with chocolate shavings or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve immediately.

What Is Coffee?

Coffee is a beverage made from the roasted seeds of certain plants. The most common ones are Coffea arabica and Caffeine-free Coffee

It has an intense flavor, with notes ranging from chocolate to vanilla to citrus to nuts and spices. It can be sweet or bitter depending on how much sugar was added during processing. If you’ve ever had espresso, this will remind you of that.

Type of Coffee

There are two types of coffees available today; Arabicas and Robustas. These terms refer to where they come from and their growing conditions. They both produce similar results when roasted and ground. However, they differ slightly in aroma and flavor profile. Some people prefer one over another based on personal preference.

Which Coffee Should I Buy?

The best advice would be to go to your local grocery store and see which brands they sell. You might find some new favorites. But don’t worry too much about buying the best brand – good quality beans always win out.

How many cups should I have per day?

At least 2 cups each time. You may want more if you’re having trouble sleeping at night, which could mean your body needs extra caffeine. But drinking too much coffee, especially caffeinated drinks such as soda, makes sleep worse, not better. And while there’s no recommended amount, experts say 400 mg of caffeine daily is safe for adults – about 6 8oz servings of brewed coffee every day.

Can Coffee make me feel sick?

Yes. Drinking lots of coffee can cause headaches, nausea, jitters, insomnia, heartburn, anxiety, rapid heartbeat, stomach cramps, diarrhea, vomiting, irritability, mood swings and even seizures. These symptoms usually go away after several hours and don’t happen all the time. They also tend to lessen over time when people quit drinking regular amounts of coffee. However, they do increase when people start back up again. So try cutting down gradually instead of going cold turkey.

Do I Need To Add Anything Special To My Coffee?

No, unless you prefer something else. Some people use milk, cream or ice cubes; others opt for decaf. Others still enjoy adding flavors such as cocoa powder, cinnamon sticks or nutmeg.
