Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat 1/4 cup water and the sugar over medium heat.
  2. Scoop off the seeds of 1 vanilla bean and add them to the water and sugar.
  3. Allow the mixture to cook for 5-10 minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved, after adding the bean shell.
  4. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a separate pot.
  5. Allow the tea bags of your choice to steep in the water for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Take the vanilla bean out of the sugar mixture and place it in the tea.
  7. Before serving, remove the tea bags and thoroughly stir the concoction.
