3rd Step
Begin with a 1/2 inch fold. Place a half-inch guide at the bottom of a sheet of printer paper. Keep the guide from moving when you fold and crease the paper over the guide.
4th step
Place the 1 1/4-inch guide on the paper, aligned with the crease you just completed. Keep the guide from moving when folding the paper over it. Repeat the alternating folds all the way around the sheet of paper. The page should start with a half-inch tab and finish with 1 1/4 inches after the last half-inch fold. Don’t be concerned if the final pleat is somewhat larger or smaller.
