You may be wondering how this machine works, so here is an overview of how it makes its coffee. This process is very different from traditional drip coffee makers. In most machines, ground coffee is placed inside a filter basket and put in a reservoir above fresh grounds. Hot water flows through the coffee grounds releasing flavor into the water.

When using the Keurig brewer, the water stays inside along with the brewed coffee as the filter basket sits below the brewing chamber. So instead of losing flavorful liquid because it’s flowing outside the coffee grounds, the liquid remains trapped inside creating a richer tasting cup of coffee. How To Use Keurig Coffee Maker Single Cup

Here are the steps to use keurig coffee maker single cup

The first step

Check sure the machine is connected in and turned on. Most models include a power button on the top right side. When you switch on the electricity, the machine will start gurgling and heating the water to 192 degrees Fahrenheit. To continue, wait until the device has completed the heating procedure.

Second Step

Fill the reservoir with water. Keurig coffee makers hold enough water to make numerous cups of coffee. Some have reservoirs that rise away from the machine, while others need you to fill a static reservoir. The reservoir lid is located on the machine’s upper left. Pour the water into it by lifting it. You could hear a buzzing sound. This is a natural sound caused by the machine drawing water into the heating chamber.

Third Step

Select your coffee. Many machines include a variety of K-cups, which are separate plastic pods that hold both the coffee and a filter. Hot chocolates and teas are also offered in K-cups, and the machine can produce a variety of other beverages. Choose your favorite flavor, but don’t remove the foil cover.

Fourth step

Place the K-cup in the machine. The K-cup is inserted into a specific slot at the front. Gently pull the gray lever on the front of the device to discover it. This reveals the spherical coffee chamber. Insert the pod into the hole and shut the coffee chamber with the handle. When the chamber is completely closed, the Keurig display will say “Ready to Brew.” If your device does not have a display, the buttons on the right side that enable you to choose a cup size will flicker.

Fifth step

Place your coffee cup on the tray at the machine’s bottom middle. Make sure your cup is the correct size for the machine you’re using. Typically, you’ll want a cup that contains at least 10 ounces and fits on the tray.

Sixth step

If your machine allows it, choose your cup size. Some units need you to hit the “brew” button. Others will start brewing automatically when you hit the proper mug-size button. If you’ve never used a Keurig before, it’s advisable to start with the lowest setting so the cup doesn’t overflow.

Seventh step

Remember to remove the used K-cup from the coffee chamber. Between usage, keep the coffee chamber open and unlatched.
